We express our deepest sympathies to Frank Frazier and Susie Meek in the recent loss of their brother Jack Frazier, and to Terry Warren in the recent loss of his brother Freddie Kirk Warren.

Warm Clothing Needed

There is an urgent need for warm clothing for the Nashville Rescue Mission. Please check your closets and cabinets for any of the below items you no longer need, Or, consider purchasing items or making a donation. Bring items to the school lobby any Sunday during January and February. (Do not leave anything at the school after hours.) Items needed: coats, heavy socks, scarves, winter gloves, warm clothing, blankets, and more. Contact Prudy Nichol if you have any questions.

GriefShare: Upcoming Sessions

We will have a special one-time session entitled "The Loss of a Spouse" for widowed men and women on Sunday, February 10 from 2:00–4:00 p.m. Please click [HERE] to register for this one day event.

Our next 13-week session of GriefShare will begin on Sunday, February 24 from 2:00–4:00 p.m. through May 26 (excluding Easter).  Please click [HERE] for details and to register for this series.

NOTE: All GriefShare gatherings will now be held at the Stephens Valley Conference Center (441 Union Bridge Road, Nashville, 37221). 

WOSVC  Bible Studies

     Tuesdays at 9:30 a.m. at the home of Donna Kimery, led by Kristen Bachmann
     Thursdays at 1:30 p.m. at the home of Karen Jones, led by Gail Carter

“The Holiness of God” by R.C. Sproul (An 11-week book study)
     Tuesdays at 9:30 a.m. at the home of Susan Joseph, led by Susan Joseph

The Stephens Valley Church Prayer Guide is produced on a weekly basis. It contains a variety of prayer concerns about our church leadership, Sunday School teachers & workers, WOSVC, Bible studies, new building efforts, missions, our country and individual church members. To request prayer, give an update, or praise report, email prayer@westminsterchapel.com or call Dick Speece (his number is available in the church directory). For those members who do not have an email address, a prayer list will be mailed to you.

Sabbatical Search Career Group

The Sabbatical Search has weekly Accountability Group meetings at Panera Bread in Green Hills each Monday from 9:00 - 11:00 AM. The group is open to all. If you are unemployed, under-employed, or looking to develop a sense of your calling, this group can provide godly insight to your search.
